Epic Death’s Of Red5Mom – Happy Mother’s Day!
I have had the hobby of photography and video editing for over 10 years now. I added gaming to my list of hobbies last Christmas. I was determined to play Star Wars Battlefront the first time I saw the trailer at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim. For Christmas 2015, I made sure one of the family gifts was the XBox One and the newest Star Wars Battlefront game. You can read more about this in my blog post Oh Yea….I Forgot….I have a Blog.
Recently I have had the privilege to be ‘friended’ on the XBox by some kids who are fun and much better gamers than I. They have invited me to game and chat with them online even though my skills are lacking. These kids are from all over the world and they call me Mom while we chat and game together. I think it’s special that they try to curb their colorful language and apologize when they slip. I appreciate how they encourage me and help me learn the tricks I need to get better at the game.
On this Mother’s Day 2015 I feel so blessed to be the mother of 4 loves of my life and to be called Mom by my gamer friends. When I was young I never imagined how small this world could get. Isn’t technology is awesome! My love of Star Wars and my use of social media has expanded my world beyond what I could imagine. Don’t ever let your age keep you from trying anything you think you might enjoy. And don’t get too old or too big to play a little every day.
Here is my latest highlight video posted on YouTube just in time for Mother’s Day.
Hugs, and may the Force be with you…..always.
